We know Legion raid bosses can drop legendary items and the chance remains in different difficulties. So you can go in Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic and Mythic to kill the same boss(es) 4 times for loot and you have 4 chances to get a legendary. My question is different, though.

The Raid Finder (or “Looking For Raid”, commonly abbreviated as “LFR”), accessed through the Group Finder, is a tool that helps players find and join a random or specific raid instance with others. The feature was first released in patch 4.3.0 for Dragon Soul as a permanent addition to the raiding system, and has been included in all subsequent instanced raids.

Note: LFR has its own lockout, even for raids from Dragon Soul to Throne of Thunder. Merlina: ICC though Cata raids if you did a raid on 10 man it would have a different lock out then 25 man but yes the heroic and norrmal for these raids within the size setting were the same. The most important change is that on LFR/Normal/Heroic you don't have instance locks. Instead you are "locked" out of loot from individual bosses after the first kill for the week. You can still go help your friends and run the raid 100 times, but you only get a chance for loot on the first kill each week. Lfr/flex: once you kill a boss, you won't get a loot again this week (except bonus roll) Normal: once you kill a boss, you can't participate in another kill of the same boss this week. If someone joins your group after you've slain some bosses, he won't be able to kill them this week.

The others difficultis you can essentially do what you want, but just have loot ID on the bosses you downed. 2012-08-24 2013-07-22 2021-03-15 I am not sure if this question makes sense, because most of the comments and replies I have been reading date back to late 2016 and early 2017 -- I was looking to see if LFR would get me in Trial of Valor: The Lost Army and if there was any reason I should try to get in a raid group via LFR -- and wandered through a whole bunch of Q&A messages which told me a lot of things I did not know. No, normal raids are one "part", only LFR and Flex are split into parts, and only in those modes you can do bosses you have killed again (in the same week) Post by felhunter normal mode starts from boss 1 all the way up to boss 14. 2019-04-02 2021-03-15 Not to be confused with the Raid Browser (aka "LFR").

So as you can see it haven't shared lockout. LFR and Normal pretty ez to do with chars who have ~430 gear. Pretty sure even 400 must be enough just slightly longer.

the mythic lockout is the only one which acts a bit stricter than the others, e.g. you cannot join a group if you and them have already a lockout. The others difficultis you can essentially do what you want, but just have loot ID on the bosses you downed.

Now, we have same story, but not 10 and 25, but Normal and LFR. “you don’t have to run it” – I do, and especially in MoP. While heroic FL items were better than average DS LFR, t13 set bonuses for some specs were too good to ignore. You can kill a boss as many times per week as you like, but only loot once per difficulty: once in LFR, once in Normal, and once in Heroic. Applies to all raid bosses of the following expansions: Warlords of Draenor, Legion, Battle for Azeroth, and Shadowlands, as well as Siege of Orgrimmar of Mists of Pandaria.

There are … You can do lfr and flex multiple times a week in addition to your normal/heroic clear (which will still be a once per week lockout). For grabbing up the gear, the team has been pretty explicit with how you should approach this new difficulty and potential burnout. The way I tested that difficulty thing was - kill boss on 10hc, enter on 25n and i was inside on 10hc, not 10n 3 LFR; 3 Normal; 2 Heroic; 2 Mythic; It dropped on Mythic difficulty. I have three shadow priest characters -- my main (level 60, ilvl 204); a Horde alt (level 53) and my bank alt (level 50). My main could very easily solo all difficulties. Although, bear in mind that in case you don't manage to complete one of these quests in time, you won't be able to get that specific rewards for at least 6 months, so you don't want to miss them. Essentially the same as WoD for everything. Mythic dungeons will have a weekly lock on each dungeon, but will award keystones to mythic+. Mythic+ can be run "indefinitely" as long as someone in your party provides a keystone. Eventually, you will fail to beat the dungeon in the time criteria and you won't regenerate a new keystone. 2020-08-10 · Lockout Types Loot-based Lockout.
